Milford, IL | I agree that diet can have an effect on ear function. I have a problem in my left ear, I can't remember the medical term but slang for it is 'glue ear'. Been waiting for a while for it to heal itself and that hasn't happened so will need to see an ENT doctor at some point.
I shared that to share, consuming large amounts of refined sugar will cause mild discomfort for me in that ear almost immediately, 30 seconds or less. Big swig of regular Coke, big bite of sugary Thanksgiving dessert, etc. I consume those foods infrequently enough that the reaction to them is very appearant when I do.
Anyway, I said all that to say, I believe you and glad to hear you figured out what was bothering you. | |
