That was my thought too. No way a baler alone uses a gallon plus of diesel to make one bale. Even premium net wrap with ~3 wraps is only about $1.50/bale in my 4x6 bales.

$10 is still going to be fairly tight with true depreciation costs. Baler will cost $5/bale in depreciation and repairs I bet. Then need to figure tractor and operator wages.
