Indianola, MS | let the doctor do this. First have your Dad checked out thoroughly for anything condition that can be fixed. My Dad got type 2 diabetes at age 75. That made him act off awhile before the Dr found it and then he was fine up into his mi 80's. Cataracts dang near blinded him, like he couldn't see at all but after surgery he was fine. But after being checked out let his doctor tell him to stay off equipment and the reasons why. I used to spend 2 hours a day figuring out what safe chore Dad was going to do that day. Disking, mowing, box blading roads.. We'd get his tractor ready and park it in the field. Often we'd leave just a couple hours worth of field work for him. Also keep the coffee flowing. When I saw my Dad start moving slow it was time for coffee and cookies. If Dad didn't get coffee a few times a day he couldn't function at all | |
