Meat fat and protein satiates. Fast carbs and sugar make you hungry in an hour or two, even stuffing your face with them.
Any long term success requires satiation of hunger. Hunger eventually wins even with the most determined calorie counters.
And the calories in/calories out is a good model for a machine but not a living body which produces hormones that cause cravings or satiety. Those are urges you can not ignore. Battles that can't be won. |
