Subject: RE: Eco tank printers

North East Wimmera district of Victoria.

My thanks for all the replies.

Went shopping yesterday. Wound up with a Brother MFP  - can't remember the exact model, and it is now down in the church office, ready to be set up. Black and three other toner cartridges.  Two sided printing - of course!

Sales man talked me through what the machines use would be, and expressed the view that if colour was only occasionally needed, then there was a chance the Eco tank would do what an Inkjet does - dry out the jets!

For the money i was authorised to spend, he agreed that a laser was the way to go.  They can sit for extended periods, and go back to colour or mono with absolutely no dramas.

I asked what about the current laptop that the printer runs off - a Win 7.  He said if it is still doing what you want without problems, there is a driver for Win 7 available to download.

All good!

Thanks again.
