Last time I bought a printer, I considered the EcoTank. In the end, I decided to buy a color laser printer.  Canon MF644cdw, to be precise.  I like my Canon laser printer.  It is a bit more expensive, and the toner cartridges are not cheap. But I like how it prints.

With ink jet cartridges, there has been discussion on ComputerTalk that they can dry out if not used frequently.  I don't know if this is true of the EcoTanks. It is a question that you should be asking.
