Doing a little more checking here. RE186601 is obsolete, and calls for a complete replacement coupler. That is the set of internal seals to replace after the coupler body is disassembled. Generally, we’ve found that replacing the thin oring R222761 around the coupler and the Teflon slipper seals in the housing-Re186600 will stop the leaks. Also, RE186599 replaces the oring and backup in the rear where the hose tip plugs in.
^^^^^ this 95% of the time that fixes the problem people think there junk cuz they leak and dont realize they take about $3.00 worth of o rings and Teflon seals I did this on my 8220 had one or two that leaked sum so changed o rings and seals in all 5 at the same time 2 years ago and haven't had a problem since. And I bought a couple sets for spares and have them stashed in the armrest |
