I hear what you guys are saying, but the 80s couplers, built using 80's technology would last and last.
One would think that when you built a tractor with the designed to run 50GPM at 150*, they would use updated components designed to withstand 50GPM at 150*. It's not like they didn't have 40 years to figure out how to do it.
