SE Iowa | When has it ever gotten wetter in the corn belt as the summer has gone on? Possibly has at some point but that’s not a bet I’d make. 90% of the corn here is curling up here at v5... never seen that before. If we don’t have any rain by June 18th that would be way over a month with zero precipitation and I don’t think any amount of rain would undo that damage. Odds are we are in for one heck of a drought.. not saying it will end up that way for sure but we have a better start than any year I can remember. | |
