You have been saying for several days the forecast is turning wetter. And every day wetter is another day away. The forecast is pointing towards near normal for most of the key growing areas. That does not indicate large drought busting systems or repeated rain chances.

Eventually the pattern does shift but odds of a majority of the growing areas getting needed rainfall are low. And even if we do get a break and get some decent weather for a week or 2 chances are we could go right back into the pattern we currently have. The jet stream is very weak which causes things to get stuck and or revert back to previous positions without an active jet to shove them along. There will be areas that are lucky enough to get just in time rains to keep their crop going but with such a large area starting to become very moisture deficient there are gonna be problem areas and they might be expansive.
