Liberty, MO | I haul grain and couple of weeks ago I got in on hauling some not so nice old wheat that was musty smelling stuff. I have COPD anyhow and that wheat just about did me in. Doctor had me fill prescriptions for antibiotics and steroids which I started and was taking for a week, visited my regular Doctor and he ordered a steroid shot instead of pills and doubled the antibiotics, and highly recommended nasal irrigation with a salt water deal. The nasal irrigation has HELPED me as much as anything, reduced the heavy coughing by 90%,usually irrigate 2-3 times daily, and I’m feeling better by the day. | |
