| Back in he day we used to jump on the coons and kill them with our bare hands. Shells cost to much!
OK, actually I would jump on them and stand on their throat. It just dawned on me. The guy who I hunted with always told me that was how it was done so no damage to the hide. I never once saw him do it!
I did have a couple that got their hands under my foot to hold me up. A couple held me a quite a while. On was strong enough to lift me off.
That one whipped 3 big coon dogs, me and a terrier before he made it to a hole. The terrier went in the hole with him. It took 3 days and nights after school to get the dog and the coon out. | |
