| We have been having a war with the coons lately. Most you shoot it the head and pretty much die. Most just give you the I messed up look while they wait to get shot. Some do fight the trap. Today we had one that had pulled the first anchor out of the ground and was trying to unscrew the second anchor. I shot it the first time and it started trying to dislocate its arm and pull out. It was also trying to attack and hissing. The second shot to the head it went down for a bit and I thought it was dead. When I went to get him loose I saw he had pretty much twisted himself up. When I got up to him he was on the attack. Third shot point blank in the head and he was still trying.
One has to admire that kind of determination. | |
