Subject: RE: tough animals

When I was a kid and hunted alot, was always told not to use hollow points because was told it would ruin the gun barrel. Is that right or wrong?

Some ammo we bought was terrible. So slow you could watch the lead out of the barrel. Skinned many coons and most bullets rolled out just under skin and never entered the body to do mortal damage.

I need 22 ammo, what has bestkilling power? Remmington USED to be good, seems like Western was cheap and no good. Its been over 50 years since I shot much.
