Cambridge, southwestern Nebraska | I’m seeing the worst conditions for July 1 that I can remember. Been doing this for 40 years.
We started out dry and remain dry. Nothing looks good on dryland. Some is on its last leg with spots never to come back.
Some of the irrigated is coming around and looking better. Early on it wasn’t real good either.
I’ve seen a few crops lost in July and August but we lost some crops in June this time around. |
