ecmn | Driving from north of Minneapolis to Kansas City tonight. The crops will be racing the calendar for sure. Some nice looking corn but nothing that stands out. Lots of unevenness in every corn field so far. I was expecting to see some tassels in MO but nothing. I can't believe the bean crop, I think the crop is in the same growth stage from my house all the way to KC. A mid September freeze could do a lot of damage. I have not seen 1 corn field that was rolling yet. A couple in southern Iowa were close but nothing showing real bad stress, yet. | |
