Less corn on corn acres here.  Dekalb-LaSalle counties.  Last year's wind flattened corn had too much ear loss.  Some of this year's soybean fields look like corn fields... but not for long.  all hail the corn-killer herbicides in soybeans.

Know over a dozen guys that hoped/planned to have a field or 2 of corn on corn, but when the mess was obvious after the wet spring... soybeans were just going to be the choice.  Not enough cultivators around to remove it the way grandpa did.

Need a good soaker here.  Soybeans really struggling to get growing.
