In fact with the dry conditions a high percentage of the crops that were planted were planted with reduced inputs. Kind of wait and see what they needed. I know of many acres of corn planted that still has no fertilizer on it as of today. If we don’t get rain in the next 2 weeks it will be dead and the insurance adjusters will be busy. Heck of a way to farm but people will do what they got to do. |
