Subject: I unloaded a tote of roundup for $13,000 yesterday vs $2,500 previous years..

I may send it back depending on today’s reports.. but yesterday I unloaded a tote of roundup which ran just under $13,000.. are you freaking kidding me?!?

vs around $2,500.. $2,750 a few years ago.

We just got done with wheat harvest.. and depending upon what prices do.. if they crash post report.. sending the roundup back.. pulling out the sweeps (old school) screw the high input costs.. summer fallow for 2024.

We’ll need some rain and luck either way.. maybe I can sweeps it.. catch a rain.. like some do and still go to corn in 2023…??

but if prices pull back… why bother?
