Pehraps immorality is all in the eye of the beholder. Lots of sliding scales based on whom is doing the judging and who is being affected. It also why religious affiliation is at an all time low. Hypocrisy rules when morality edits are concerned. And please don’t quote some Bible passage because your interpretation is all based on your upbringing. People have stopped falling for the religion game and the control it brought upon them.
Your last line cracks me up. All that really happened is people are changing religions, from whatever they were in to the religion of secular humanism or whatever variant of that is going on. Everyone has a religion of some type or kind, something has to shape your worldview. So worship whatever you choose whether it's yourself, the Triune God, Allah, or any other list of gods, but there is a day of reckoning coming whether you want to believe it or not.
Don't try to foist the lie upon everyone though that you have no religion. You're worshipping something whether you believe it or not, and today, self is at the top of the list. |
