Subject: RE: Mowing down phone junction boxes

SE Nebraska, Near Misery and Cans Ass!

Mitchco - 6/11/2022 12:05 We have metal ones around here, about 6" square. I was mowing in front of A rented farm back in the 80's where the weeds were 5 feet tall with a 6' Bush Hog. Cut it off flush with the ground on the last pass. A few hours later I drove by in a truck. Guy from the phone company was splicing the wires back together. I felt bad since there must have been 100,000 pairs of wires in that box. I almost stopped but I kept on going. Went by again a few days later and there was a new box in its place. Never heard a word from anybody about it. Mitchco

You're lucky, I didn't see one in the weeds and clipped it with a nurse trailer and cost me $10,000. It was right by the field entrance.
