Just for a little info, the longest life that I personnally have seen out of a 3116 mechanical engine was 330,000 miles in a tow truck (for automobiles). He put in a reman because the blowby(and oil leaks)was just so bad. I mentioned this so if you look for used engines, just remember that probably 200,000 miles or so wouldn't be a very good idea. If you could find a wrecked truck with a newer reman in it, that might be worth a try. Probably easier said, than done.
