For the benefit of any CIH powers that be:

1) What's the deal with the crappy 1/2" lock nuts on the parallel linkages?  Ours has reversing locks on the front of the linkages, and mostly toplocks on the rear of the linkages,  but some reversing locks there.  The reversing locks are junk....they were pretty much all loose, and 5 had fallen off.  I thought the toplocks were okay until today when a neighbor noticed some of them loose as well.

a) Why didn't they tighten the stupid things when they built it

b) Since when does a lock nut fall off, even if it is not tight?

2) The  5/8" reversing locks on the press wheels seem to be of similar quality.  Several of those have been loose as well.

3) Is it reasonable to have opener bearings going out on a planter which has only been over 100 acres per 30" row?

4) A real latch on the AFS cabinet instead of that silly rubber strap would be nice. Heck, making it open to the right instead of the left so the toolbar wouldn't hit it if it comes open would be even nicer.  When the dealer knows what happened before you even get half way through explaining the problem, it IS a valid warranty claim, regardless of whether the company tries to deny it or not.
