Subject: planters John Deere vs. CIH

Cambridge, southwestern Nebraska
Looking to order a planter for next year. I've ran a CIH cyclo for years. I do like the simplicity but I need to update. So, I do have experience with the CIH row units which I think have some positives over a Deere. But, there are a lot of green planters around and they seem to have just as good of stands.
Both JD and CIH dealers are within the same distance. Either dealer is OK.
I want a 16 row central fill but also considering a 24 row.
I'll be planting corn, beans, and milo.
Any and all suggestions and experiences welcome.
