duramax diesel fuel milage and chipping?

Thanks guys for all the replies. It is interesting to hear different ideas and thoughts. I think im just gunna leave it alone, keep driving it and turn off the ave. econ function and watch the miles pile on. I can honestly say i do use my truck...including the crew cab. I put around 50k a year on, driving a crew around in the summer while pulling a cargo trailer full of tools, and escorting grain bins down the road. I really do appreciate the smooth pulling power of the diesel over that abortion of a motor i had before GM called the 6.0, however if i didnt do this kind of work i would have a hard time justifying the added cost of owning a duramax diesel, let alone such a nice (and overpriced) pickup truck. Otherwise I think id just have my trusty old 1984 6.2 diesel chevy 4x4 back! Loved that truck! ran cheap, no payment!
