The attachments do switch from a 740 to a 640 loader. We do it all the time. A 740 can be SL (self leveling) or NSL (non self leveling) and the same with 640. Our 740 is SL and the 640 is a NSL. You can see more of course, just depends what you want to do with it. I like the SL for feed loading and moving bales.
