Never had a 260, but have been told the 265 is the better of the 2. I believe the 265 is a self-leveling unit. Currently using a 740SL on a 7800. Had a JD 280 on a 4450, and that was the toughest loader I'ver ever been around. Not sure about a 745 model, never seen one. I don't think the attachments for a 6xx loader will fit the 7xx, would think the frame rails are narrower on the 6xx.
