Rivers, MB | Looking at buying a 4430/4440 to use as extra auger tractor/stone picker tractor/pea rolling tractor/loader tractor. Would like to put a JD loader on it. Few questions about the different models.
1. What is the difference between a 260, 265, 740, and 745 JD loader? Are some self levelling? Can you have a self levelling and non self levelling 740 loader for instance. Are the above #'s just different ages of loaders.
2. We have a 640 loader on a JD 6405 as well with a 8' bucket and set of pallet forks that are quick attach onto the 640 loader. Will those attachments that fit a 640 loader also fit onto any of the above mentioned loader #'s. Would be nice to have the attachments interchangeable between the 2 loader tractors.
