Most guys around here use GPS...Gravity Positioning System. It involves a retractable 20' pipe mounted to the front of the tractor. the ends of the pipe have a piece of chain or a metal rod attached to it. The "gravity" pulls the chain down to the ground. the tractor operator then drags the chain over the top of the outer row of the previous pass. The nice thing about this "GPS" system is that there is never a software upgrade, the tilt module is always calibrated, and there is no subscription fee for the signal.
