A couple other things to check.
Tire pressure can really affect. If they are low pressure tires, you could try having someone checking deck level while the primary operator is in the seat. My crappy Dixie Chopper is very "tire pressure" sensitive.
If you have a 3 blade set-up and the center blade is ran by main drive belt, check the belt going from center to ends. If that belt is slipping, the belt could be glazed or belt tensioner could be out of adjustment.
... Hate to mention this but I have seen blades get put on upside down.
