| I know a guy with rentals, doesn’t use a lawyer, files paperwork at the courthouse and gets a judgment against deadbeats like that. Has had a couple of them come back later and pay up because they were trying to buy a house and they had to clear their record to get a loan.
If you do rentals, have good air tight leases, document everything and the process works better. He never lost more than a couple months rent. He’s pretty tight with money, few days after they miss a rent payment, he starts filling paperwork
