NW IN | You have to kind of keep germ of the seed also in mind, even though most bags are just marked as 95% germ. Just because you plant 34,000 doesn't mean that you will get 34,000. If you planted 34,000 and the germ on the seed say was 95% you theoretically only planted 32,300. I know on some of these new hybrids that are being winter produced somewhere other than the USA the germs haven't always been top notch. Just something to keep in mind. | |
