| EQIP is a cozy way of getting farmers to submit, and allow the government to track, a nutrient management plan. Everyone is moaning and groaning about having their CRP ground locked up in government control, wait until they get a few years down the road with EQIP and uncle same is patroling how they farm for the few bucks he gave them. Sounds good and most people probably don't mind the lack of flexibility that comes with this garbage, but if I want to roll my soil over witha big moldboard, I'm gonna do it, it is my land and I'm not signing the oversight over to uncle sam. | |
