Agent Orange: Friendly fire that keeps on burning. | Electric motor doesn't really need to warm up and burn off combustion products. Nothing better for stop&go and a bunch of short trips.
No exhaust or cat convertor to collect stubble and burn. Not much heat needs dissipating so most of the time, the radiator shutter remains closed. Here is a pic of the underside of my X. The bottom pan is quite robust as it protects the batteries from road hazards. I think it would polish nicely but would take a long time to wear through.
