Biden would be paying rent on the unprofitable land that could go in CRP.
Problem is trying to match the land rental rates with .gov.
The whole farm might rent for $90 an acre. If CRP is paying $130 there is going to be problems, and vice versa.
But one could make the argument that if you pay say $10,000 in rent total a year. .Gov pays for the bad ground and you make the difference up with the good ground, that might actually work.
and now we want the government back involved in artificially inflating the land values |
