You are the first person I've ever heard say that no-till and tile drainage are somehow the same. As near as I can tell they have little to do with one another.

I can imagine how drain tile could have a tremendous impact on salinity and poor drainage of any kind. Thus the name.

Example. You deep rip a poorly drained field in the fall.

The spring, you get excessive rain, the profile is full and because of ripping there is no structure what so ever and it has to be prevent planted. Right or wrong?

I know what little tile drained acres we have it matters not whether you drag a FC over it before planting or direct seed, if it isn't close to the tile line it is an issue.
