Franklinton, LA | That would be my plan "C" as long as you avoid going to Gonzales! Again, I would not like to try this route for the first time after dark.
Your route suggests going I12 to Holden then going south on LA441 to LA42. I would prefer to continue West on I12 to Livingston and then going South on LA63 to LA444.
The attached file can provide some information on what can happen if you travel on South LA highways after dark!
