Floyd County, Iowa | Whenever I've called them (811, or OneCall), they get the address of where the work is going to be done, then they pull up the satellite map on their screen and ask all the questions they need to so they get the exact location of the proposed dig.
My last one was at the farm, and they figured out where they had to locate, from our phone conversation. We even had 2 lines going in front of our place on the edge of the gravel road that I didn't know was there. I could have sworn they were on the other side of the road, in the ditch. | |
