Central, IA | Not all of them are. I bought a farm last year with 4 gas lines on it. I did a locate this fall just to have everything marked so I could record the locations for future reference. I got a personal phone call from all of them and they were all more than eager to come standby if we wanted to do anything.
FYI, in my experience, Xenia marks their own lines. They also have hundreds if not thousands of miles of plastic pipe in central Iowa with no locate wire....because it would increase there costs too much.
