Subject: Missouri, Illionois ,and Indiana DOT question

Parsons Kansas
Don't really know where to ask this question at so I will ask here. I really don't want to start a war amongst ourselves with DOT rules either.
I'm considering going to Indiana to pick up a piece of equipment for myself. My proposed route will take me by one scale house in Missouri and one on the Illinois/Indiana state line. I'm driving a 1-ton with farm tags and pulling a 25ft dual tandem axle gooseneck with farm tags. Lights and brakes work of course. When I'm loaded and coming back home I will be nowhere near overweight. Tagged for 24,000. Also will not be overwidth. So do I need to stop at weigh stations like a big truck or can I just sickle right on by? On all my other outings to pick up something I have never stopped at stations and nobody has ever told me any different. Just wondering if I have been just lucky or they aren't concerned with me. Thanks for the input. Darren
