Subject: Ai syncing lactating cows

Nebraska
I’d appreciate any advice on how you setup spring cows to breed via Ai that have calves on them. Heifers and dry cows are easy but last time I tried to sync 10 lactating cows i think we got 2 out of 10 to stick. Just wasn’t much estrous activity and we used a cidr on them. They were on fresh grass and ai’d end of June. I’ve heard some people pull the calves off for 24 hrs but I’m not liking that idea. Thanks!
