Back in the day, our school made terrible sourkraut.
I like the stuff normally, but what they served was like something soaked in a urinal. Man that was bad.
And the hot dog they served with it was the rubber type - wasn't even a turkey or other off meat - there just wasn't any meat in it at all.
I saved my lunch ticket on those days.
And, to this day, one of my favorites is a brat & sourkraut. Just not what the school was making.
