| I have been wondering if the newer models were improved over the older ones. I bought a DD when they first came on the market and never had much luck with it. It would sharpen the old cheap bits but not our good cobalt ones. I see the new ones are advertised to sharpen the cobalt & titanium bits. You're the first person who has said they have owned both the old & new DDs.
Doubt if I would buy a new DD as I free hand sharpen my bits. Ican't tell anyone how I do it, couldn't even show my son how, I just do it. If I could find it I would probably send someone my DD if they would pay the postage..............................lol | |
