Subject: thats a bunch of corn for your neck of the woods

Thunder Bay, Ontario, Great White North
I rent a 7000 6 row to put in 100 acres for silage every year, does the job, no experience with any other planter however.

I assume you are counting on global warming kicking into high gear this summer. 800 acres - for grain or silage - that's a fair chunk - what hybrids are you using? Has there been a lot of grain corn grown successfully in your area?
