Around here, At&t is the most reliable.

I like my BlackBerry (CrackBerry), and it works better than some of the cheap ones I have owned.

For me, texting is important because I can leave my guys a written message (about parts or something) and they have a written copy to refer to, instead of relying on their memory only.

I have a wireless, stereo BlueTooth that is great for talking while driving, or for listening to songs on my built-in MP3 player.  I have a memory card in my BlackBerry for x-tra storage of songs & pics.
