most auto supply stores have them. If you can find one with the laser pointer to show where the temp is taken it would be better, but mine is just one you point at an object and it reads out temp. Best place to take temp is probably near the thermostats to check them, or the temp sender to see if that's where the problem is. That's how i diagnosed mine.....
