Leave the baffles open. One neighbor had 1200 planter with individual boxes that would bridge on humid days and large seed. Dealer told him to leave baffles down lower, just caused trouble. We ran ours at the 2 setting for 5 seasons and had no problem, lots of 60+ lb seed.
