I think these are the same torsion dampners they used in the 8x60 and 8x70 series. We had a 8770 that ate these for breakfast. We even had John deere put the last two in to make sure that we didn't mess things up. We ended up getting rid of the tractor and the mechanic said it has been back for two more. We still have an 8760 with 10,000 hrs that still has the original (knock on wood).
