Subject: RE: Seeding canola with Valmar

Manitoba, Canada.
We have had our canola seeded with the Co-op's floater for the last 4 years. They blow on all the fert and put the canola through the granular bin on the terragator. We usually do a light tillage before and then till right after. Last year we were about a week before any rain fell on it and we averaged a 47 bu crop. We find it works really well, plus we don't have to worry about changing rollers on the air cart and we can be planting cereals and canola at the same time with only one air drill in the fleet.
