MN | Does anyone have a formula that they use that tells them the size of planter and combine they need? For example: x number of acres = q planter, x number of acres = z combine with f corn head & c soybean head?
I'm also looking for an information source for late model JD equipment that will tell me the capacity for combines. Example: this combine can handle this corn head traveling at x speed, harvesting x amount of bushels per acre.
I need to know if I operate x combine or x planter I am able to harvest or plant x amount of acres per hour. It's kind of an interesting project, but I need somewhere to start to do some figuring.
